Local Dancer Headed to Greece!

ELNOS is happy to support another local young artist to learn and grow and bring their skills back to the region. Kelsey Patry has been a part of Elliot Lake dance studio, DanceWorks, almost her entire life. She has been a competitive dancer for over 10 years and in recent years has become a choreographer and dance teacher to the next generation. She is a multi-talented dancer in genres such as Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Ballet, and more.

At her most recent dance competition, VIEW Dance Challenge (VDC), Kelsey was invited to attend the 2022 Greece Intensive program held by the competition. She was one of twenty dancers selected from VDC competitions across the country. The dancers were chosen based on their demonstration of versatility, passion, and determination for the art of dance. The program is an 8-day dance and performance intensive that takes place at the Westin Costa Navarino Resort in Greece. Kelsey will take part in master classes with International choreographers in dancing and acting and get the opportunity to perform at the Agora Outdoor Theater in Athens.
